When Emmala contacted me to do her senior session portraits, I was honored and completely nervous at the same time. See, Emmala lives in Texas and as you know I live in South Carolina. Emmala found my Instagram and said that she would be in the area in July and wanted to capture her senior portraits in Greenville. No pressure, right?!?

After weeks of planning and prepping for her perfect senior session, the day had finally come to meet Emmala. However, weather in the upstate had other plans. Emmala and I discussed options but decided to go ahead and give our chosen time a chance, and boy am I glad we did. The rain held off for almost the entire session and we were able to capture some gorgeous portraits of her.

When I met Emmala in downtown Greenville, I was blown away by her maturity and focus. It was hard to believe that she was still in high school. Emmala is not only gorgeous but incredibly smart, and I know her future is so bright. I am so humbled that Emmala asked me to capture this special moment in her life. Where she is starting to walk into her own and decide her future endeavors.
