A Summer Engagement Shoot in Charleston SC
I met Laura and Cam earlier this summer to discuss their wedding. We decided to forego the regular coffee date and have a pint at Palmetto Brewery in Charleston. I knew from the start of our meeting that I was going to enjoy our time together in the months to come! Laura and Cam are two extremely warm and inviting people and as soon as you start chatting with them, you feel like you have known them for years.
So when it was time to set up their engagement session, I knew that they would be up for so much fun! They asked me to meet them in their old neighborhood in downtown Charleston, just blocks away from their first home together in the Holy City. A little oyster bar called Leon’s. Now this isn’t just any restaurant. This place has it all, including a favorite soft serve ice cream with sprinkles that Laura and Cam wanted to share. Now do not forget the name of this restaurant, because it is very important in this romantic story. Laura and Cam walked into Leon’s looking like they stepped out of a magazine!! Everyone, and I mean everyone, turned around to see who they were. They enjoyed ice cream in the back courtyard and shared loving smiles.
We then headed down towards the Battery for some strolls through historic Charleston. We were surrounded by blooming flowers and pastel buildings.
We finished our downtown tour in White Point Garden surrounded by oak trees before taking a drive to our last location!!!
Now, do you recall the name of that restaurant from the beginning of this romantic story?? Don’t peak!!! If you guessed Leon’s you are correct. Now let me introduce you to someone very special. Leon, yep you guessed it named after one of Laura and Cam’s favorite restaurants, joined us in Isle of Palms for the remainder of our session! I mean, just look at him!!!
We toasted to the love that these two share with champagne! They laugh so easily together!
MY FAVORITE!!!!
Laura and Cam, I am so so excited to be joining you for part of your journey!!! May you always smile with sparkles in your eyes at each other!
xoxo, Natasha
