[dropcap]S[/dropcap]tephanie and Austin’s love story is one of persistence! They both grew up in a small town in North Carolina. Their paths crossed from time to time when they were growing up!! But fate took hold when Austin came home for a visit one weekend. He told me that he saw Stephanie, and thought to himself “She sure grew up!!” He tried to convince Stephanie to go on a date with him. But it took a few tries before she would say yes! Austin’s persistence sure paid off because these two are completely precious together!

In December, we shot their engagement session. Stephanie really wanted to have their session downtown. On the day of their session, I arrived downtown and was shocked to see the streets were bustling with everyone in their Christmas sweaters. I called Stephanie and Austin to let them know that the Charleston Christmas parade was happening at the exact time we were supposed to start our session. We quickly swapped to plan B!!! We went to Hampton park to take some portraits and rescheduled their downtown engagement session for a later date! And boy am I glad we did! Because that meant that I got to spend even more time with these two!!

Stephanie and Austin, I am so happy that Austin’s persistence led you down this path! I feel so honored to be capturing your love story! And I can not wait to be with you at Pepper Plantation in the Fall!!!
