[dropcap]I[/dropcap] remember the first time that I met Anna and her sweet mother at coffee early this summer. Anna had that newly engaged glow as she entered Kudu coffee. We chatted for over an hour about Charleston, life and all things wedding. Anna and I connected over our deep love for Charleston and both of our alma mater College of Charleston. GO COUGARS!! Which, if I say so myself, has one of the most beautiful campuses in the world!! I remember leaving that coffee date and calling Michael to tell him how much I loved them and how sad I would be if they decided against working with me.
Spoiler alert, Anna and Riley asked me to be their wedding photographer. And I would be lying if I said I didn’t do a really horrible happy dance in our living room. But I also had not met Riley yet. So I was super pumped that they made time to schedule an engagement session with me on their visit to Charleston a few weeks ago. We met at a wine bar and chatted about life and their wedding before heading to the historic district to start their session.
Anna and Riley were such naturals!!! They literally made it so easy on me! They were even being super cute between shots. I am so excited to be joining them at Old Wide Awake next year to capture their wedding day!! I have a feeling it is going to be on to remember!! Anna and Riley, thank you for making my job so so easy and being the sweetest couple ever!! I can’t wait for you wedding day!
