Historic Redcliffe Plantation Engagement Session
[dropcap]I[/dropcap] love Charleston for sessions, but I am ALWAYS up for exploring new areas with my couples. So when Rachel and Joel asked me to drive to Aiken SC for their engagement session, I was super pumped to explore a new area with them. Rachel and Joel actually live in Aiken so making the almost 3 hour drive meant that I was also going to meet them in person for the first which made me SO excited.
Rachel and Joel asked me to meet them at a state park that Rachel actually used to work at. So the park meant a lot to Rachel, and bonus points it was absolutely GORGEOUS! I pulled up to Redcliffe Planation and gasped when I saw the big porches and rolling hills. But even more exciting than the gorgeous property were Rachel and Joel pulling up, so joyful and excited for their engagement session.
One of my favorite things that happened during our time together was when Joel looked over at me and said “I told my friend after our first date that I think I have met my future wife!”. Rachel looked up at him in awe. She said “You never told me that!” And y’all, it was the cutest exchange ever. Rachel and Joel, I don’t know how I got so lucky to have a couple like y’all ask me to join you on this journey, but I literally feel so honored! Your joyfulness, love of life and love of each other is why I love doing what I do! And I am counting down the days until May!!
