A Charleston Surprise Proposal

 

[dropcap]L[/dropcap]arerick and Hannah traveled to Charleston from Arkansas for their yearly vacation! Hannah found me on Instagram and reached out about setting up a session with her boyfriend. I always get really excited about sessions with boyfriend and girlfriends, and secretly hope a surprise proposal will happen! But normally I will get a heads up!

Their session showed up, and since Larerick hadn’t reached out, I assumed that they just wanted to have some portraits to commemorate their vacation in Charleston. They showed up looking amazing! Hannah was wearing the cutest Lilly Pulitzer dress, which if you know me you know I am obsessed with Lilly, and Larerick was in his pastel button down. They looked so amazing together! And again for a split second I thought, maybe Larerick has a surprise. We even joked about it when another photographer passed by us. She asked if they were engaged, and we all just laughed it off. And I quickly looked at Larerick, and y’all, he was so calm.. there was no way he was going to shock us all with a proposal!

Well.. there we were! We were at their last spot for their session. One of my favorite gates along Meeting St. I was chatting with these two, and starting to pose them, when Larerick bent down. I honestly thought he was going to tie his shoe! Then I thought, why is he joking around? But then I saw him pull down his sock and knew it was happening!!! Hannah was about to get the shock of her life! And quite honestly so was I! Larerick proposed to Hannah right there on Meeting St, with the sun glistening through the gate. And it was absolutely perfect!!

Hannah and Larerick, I can’t tell you how happy I am that I got to be the one to witness this moment with you two! I simply adore you both! And I can not wait to see what the future has in store for you!
