A Historic Summerville Backyard Wedding
Being a part of a historic Summerville backyard wedding was such an honor! From the moment I met Jana and Sam, I knew I wanted to be a part of their journey to becoming husband and wife. Jana and I have so much in common. First, we both attended College of Charleston. Second, we both have a passion for photography. When Jana and Sam hired me to document their beautiful love story, I was overjoyed!
Jana had always dreamed of getting married at her childhood home where her parent’s still live in historic Summerville. On this sunny day, all her dreams came true. She not only married the man of her dreams, she got to do it in the place that meant the most to her. Filled with tradition and sentiment, and their adorable Golden Retriever, Rosie, this wedding day reflected Jana and Sam’s love story from beginning to end.
A Childhood Dream Come True
On this day, getting ready in the home she grew up in, Jana was surrounded by so much love. Her family and closest friends were there to celebrate with her. Her gorgeous, off the shoulder gown was ever flowing. She completely lit up the room with her infectious smile.
The Bridal Party
The bridesmaids wore beautiful, dusty rose dresses and brought so much joy and laughter to this day. The groomsmen had just as much fun and looked so handsome in their blue suits and coordinating floral ties.
The First Look
Always a favorite moment for me, the first look allows for intimate moments shared between the bride and groom. It is the only time the entire day they are alone, just the two of them. This is one of those romantic moments Jana and Sam will never forget!
The Ceremony
Jana and Sam had such a touching ceremony. It was such a blessing to witness their deep love for one another.
Full bridal party photos were so much fun with this group.
Here are a few more photos of Jana and Sam as husband and wife!
The Reception
What a blast this reception was! After Jana and Sam took a spin on the dance floor as husband and wife, everyone enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Beautiful toasts were given and everyone danced the night away. They had a local artist there painting their portrait which was amazing to watch. Guests waved their ribbons and cheered as Jana and Sam set off for their adventure as a newlywed couple. How sweet it will be for Jana and Sam to reminisce about their wedding day every time they go back home!
Jana and Sam, thank you for choosing me to be your wedding photographer! You both mean the world to me and the entire team at Natasha Coyle Photography wishes you all the happiness in the world!
