Intimate Charleston Winter Elopement
Magnolia Plantation and Gardens
As a Charleston wedding photographer, I have become a huge fan of an intimate Charleston winter elopement. The intimacy between two people in love during an elopement is undeniable. Kimber and Nathan were no exception. Kimber and Nathan met in Florida, but Nathan’s job in the military brought them to Charleston. They knew that they wanted to have an intimate elopement for their wedding day, and Magnolia Plantation and Gardens was the perfect spot to have it. Even in December the grounds were simply beautiful. The large, mossy oak trees were the most gorgeous backdrop for this special day.
Kimbra was stunning in her wedding gown. It was both elegant and romantic. Her bouquet was filled with an array of the vibrant roses of various colors. Nathan was dashing in his gray suit and red tie.
Kimber and Nathan shared an emotional first look down by the river. Nathan’s face was in pure shock when he turned around to see his beautiful bride standing there ready to embrace her groom. It was so evident that these two shared pure, genuine love for each other.
We spent time exploring the property, dancing in the maze, and finding the most picturesque spots to capture portraits. It was magical in every way!
When it was time to say “I Do”, Kimber and Nathan made their way to the big oaks. It was just the two of them and their officiant as they vowed to take on life together, loving each other from this day forward.
After their ceremony, we set up a blanket on the sprawling lawn of Magnolia Plantation. They shared cake and toasts under the Spanish Moss. Their sweet dog had suddenly passed days before their wedding, so they had a portrait in remembrance.
Kimber and Nathan love the show Peaky Blinders, so they picked the perfect Rolls Royce from Lowcountry Valet to add some flare to their portraits. It was the most romantic get away car!
Kimber and Nathan’s elopement was centered around being fully present with each other. It was intimate and beautiful, and I felt honored to be a part of it! Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Bradley! The entire team at Natasha Coyle Photography wishes you the best!
