Maggie & Brandon | Charleston Engagement Session

 

[dropcap]M[/dropcap]eet Maggie and Brandon!! These two are the newest couple to join my little family of couples!! I actually met Maggie back in February at Austin and Liz’s wedding. She was one of Liz’s bridesmaids! I remember thinking the whole day how amazing everyone was at Austin and Liz’s wedding day. From them, to their family and their friends! So when Maggie reached out to let me know that her boyfriend, Brandon, had proposed, I was ecstatic!! I do not take it lightly when past bridesmaids reach out. Honestly, I completely freak out! It’s like a little nudge from God saying, Hey Girl.. You are doing something right!!

But, just as when anyone reaches out to ask if I am available, I try not to get my hopes up!! Well fast forward to chatting with these two over Zoom, and yep, I got my hopes up! Thankfully they felt the same way and asked me to join them on their journey! These two are filled with so much joyful energy, I was so excited to get to meet up with them for their engagement session! It just so happened that it was Maggie’s birthday AND they had just celebrated closing on their first home together! So celebrating in a near empty downtown with engagement pictures was just the cherry on top!!

Maggie and Brandon gushed about their dog, Loki!! And they told me how their plan to go to San Diego for vacation (where Brandon had planned to pop the big question) had been thwarted with current events, but Brandon quickly came up with Plan B.. and when I say seeing the video of him getting down on one knee by Morris Lighthouse made me teary eyed… I mean my mascara was running y’all!!

Maggie and Brandon, I do not take being anyone’s wedding photographer lightly!! But when you see me first hand in action, and decide that I am your girl, I take that honor to a whole new level!! Thank you for allowing me to be on this journey with y’all! I had the best time chasing light with you! And I am counting down the days until November to do it again!!
