Nicki & Gill | Engaged

[dropcap]I[/dropcap] met this pair back in November at Brenna and Trey’s wedding day!! Nicki was one of Brenna’s bridesmaids and Gill was her date! Little did I know, a few weeks later these two would travel to Hawaii and Gill would propose to Nicki!! I was SO excited when they both reached out about their plans to get married in Charleston this Fall.

Nicki and Gill actually met while studying abroad with Clemson in Serbia!! And the rest was well, history! They came back to school, graduated from Clemson, moved to Atlanta, and now they are planning an amazing soirée at Hotel Bennett in October. I was so pumped that they wanted to set up their engagement session in Charleston while they are quarantining here. So as soon as I got the green light for engagement sessions from the state, I checked in with Nicki to set it up!

I had Mike tag along, and we met Nicki and Gill in front of Hibernian hall!! A twist of fate, Nicki actually had her Bat mitzvah in Hibernian when she was 12!! We chatted with Nicki and Gill about Gill’s hometown Seattle, Mike’s company is actually based there, their lives in Atlanta, their jobs and of course all things wedding!! We practically had the entire city of Charleston to ourselves!

Nicki and Gill thank you for hanging out with us, laughing with us, and rocking your engagement portraits! Couples like you is why I love what I do!! Y’all made us feel instantly comfortable and our little reunion was the perfect way to get a glimpse of what normal life will look like in October when we are dancing the night away at your wedding day!!
