Paige & Jason | An Intimate Hampton Park Wedding

[dropcap]I[/dropcap] remember waking up to a DM that I had received over night! It said “Hi!! I know it’s late and I’m sorry but I couldn’t wait anymore. We’re eloping!”. Talk about excitement with your morning coffee! Paige actually reached out back in May and said she found me on Tik Tok! She said as soon as she was getting married, I was going to be the first person they called. I am always flattered when someone says that but I never think they actually will. So when I woke up a few weeks ago to the message that they were eloping, I was SO excited for them. Paige lives in Virginia and Jason is in the military and lives in South Carolina. Paige said they didn’t want to wait any longer for Covid to be over, or for the time to be right.. the time felt right now!

So the plans started and we had exactly one week to pull this off! Paige found her perfect dress! And she decided to match her son, Preston, and Jason in bowties. Paige and Jason said “I do” in an intimate Hampton Park wedding, in front of Paige’s son, Jason’s coworker and me! And while watching them share their vows so intimately, it reminded me that wedding days can be whatever you want them to be. In times of uncertainty, watching these two vow to love each other for better or worse brought so many tears to my eyes. They said “I do” as Preston ran back and forth hugging his mama’s leg! Talk about the sweetest day!

After their ceremony, we chased the sunlight through golden Spanish Moss along the avenue of Crepe Myrtles at Hampton Park. Paige squealed when I shared a sneak peek of the magic we were making behind the camera. Jason and Paige shared giggles and “Oh my gosh, we are married!” moments! We then took a drive to the Mills House Hotel to meet up with a The Pink Figgy for more photos! Jason and Paige steamed up Queen Street and had everyone stopping to get a glimpse at the new Mr & Mrs!

Paige, Jason and Preston, thank you for letting me be one of the few to witness your love story! I can not tell you how much it meant to me to be able to be there for y’all as you became a family!! I just know that the days ahead are going to be filled with so many sweet memories!

XO Natasha
