Being a wedding photographer isn’t just about taking pretty pictures. It’s also about creating a fun and meaningful experience for my couples that’s memorable – and rave worthy. One of the simple ways I do that is by infusing playful surprises into their experience with me. And one of my favorites is a dynamic cover for their gallery online! It’s a little surprise they get when their Pixieset gallery is delivered. Creating this GIF is SO simple – and that’s why I’ve created a free resource for you all about how to create a GIF in Photoshop! You can download this guide using the link below, but here’s a few things to consider when you’re at your session.
What you need to make a GIF
In order to create a GIF, you need to have the right kind of images from your session or wedding. GIFs need lots of movement, so twirling or walking poses are great for this option! When you’re ready to start capturing images for your GIF, stay perfectly still and hold your shutter down to capture the movement rapidly. These will be the images you use to create the GIF (an exact tutorial is available HERE).
Once you have the GIF, you’re able to create some dynamic content for your couple. Consider uploading it as your gallery cover for something fun to surprise them. You can also use the GIF online as a little sneak into their session. Whatever you do with it, have fun!
