A luxury Cedar Room wedding was everything Holly and Erik had dreamed! This July 3, 2021 wedding was a stunner of a wedding day. Holly and Erik’s love story began with an unexpected blind date.

Getting Ready at Hotel Bennett

With family and friends by their side, Holly and Erik got ready at Hotel Bennett. Holly a gorgeous gown designed by Hayley Paige. Her white Bella Belle wedding heels were adorned with a floral applique pattern. To compliment her stunning sapphire and diamond wedding ring, every detail carried a hint of blush blue. The invitation suite was fabulous and coordinated with the personalized blue ring box. Erik was dashing in his blue tux with black lapel. Elegance at its finest!

First Look at Hibernian Hall

Holly and Erik shared a romantic first look at Hibernian Hall. It was sweet and intimate and something I highly recommend every couple adds to their wedding day. We roamed the streets of Charleston and, with their bridal party by their side, I captured their love with portraits at The Mills House before heading to St. Luke’s Chapel for the ceremony.

Can we talk about this luxury Cedar Room wedding reception!! Simply breathtaking! Accented with white drapery, a floral installation of white and blue florals mixed with greenery was a show stopper. Hydrangea’s filled the room and blue and white decor combined for a refined table setting. Bouquets and Bowties really outdid themselves with this one.

Toasts were made, the tiered white cake was cut and guest danced the night away. The moment that my boy mom heart couldn’t handle occurred when Erik and his mom invited the groomsmen to bring their moms onto the dance floor to share special dances with their moms. It was one of the sweetest moments I have ever witnessed at a wedding. Just before sunset, I whisked Holly and Erik away from the reception to take some dreamy portraits of the newlyweds at Ravenel Bridge.
