Colorful Fall Charleston Wedding | Founders Hall | Maggie and Brandon

Colorful Fall Charleston Wedding

This colorful fall Charleston wedding was one of those days I wish I could live over and over again. From beginning to end, it was absolutely perfect! This wedding was even more special to me because I actually met Maggie at Liz’s wedding, one of my former brides. When Maggie reached out to let me know that her boyfriend, Brandon, had proposed, I was ecstatic!! I do not take it lightly when past bridesmaids reach out. Honestly, I completely freak out! It’s like a little nudge from God saying, Hey Girl.. You are doing something right!!

Founders Hall

Founders Hall is a Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site. It has ageless charm with modern versatlity. It had just the vibe  Maggie and Brandon wanted for their colorful fall Charleston wedding November 22, 2020. Maggie and Brandon spent their morning getting ready with their friends. Music was playing and laughter echoing down the halls. They made sure to create a day that gave them plenty of time together, with a first look, tons of portrait time, and a dance party that had them on the dance floor all night.

First Looks Outside Founders Hall

I absolutely love first looks! Maggie and Brandon incorporated several first looks into their wedding day. It allowed them to take every moment in and not be rushed. As your photographer, I build in just enough time for every first look your heart desires. We started with a reveal with Maggie’s bridesmaids then one with her father. Joyful and tearful all at the same time!

Maggie was such a vision of beauty in this stunning wedding gown. I still can’t get over her beauty, inside and out! The colorful and vibrant florals that made up this bouquet were the perfect combination!

Maggie and Brandon exchanged gifts during their first look. Brandon gave Maggie a bible with room for notes, and Maggie gifted Brandon a beautiful journal for bible study. It was amazing to see that they shared similar gifts with each other. Just re-affirmed that they are made for each other.

Colorful Fall Charleston Wedding Bridal Party Portraits

This had to be one of the most joyous bridal parties ever! There was an abundance of laughter and giggles at every moment. The bridesmaids were gorgeous in their mauve dresses. The guys were dapper in their blue tuxedos. The florals added an abundance of color!

A Ceremony at John Wesley United Methodist Church

Maggie and Brandon held their wedding ceremony at John Wesley United Methodist Church, Brandon’s childhood church.  Even though they had a first look, Brandon still was overcome with emotion when Maggie and her dad walked towards him. It was a beautiful ceremony!

Maggie and Brandon’s reception was one of the best I have ever witnessed. It is not often that everyone is on the dance floor the entire time. But this day, they were. The floor shook as they danced the night away to Midnight City Band.

While no one wanted this night to end, we all knew it was just the beginning for these newlyweds! They ran through a sea of bubbles with their family and friends cheering them on! They rode off into their future in the coolest getaway car.

Maggie and Brandon, it has been my greatest honor to document your wedding day! It was one of the best days!! Thank you for allowing me to be your girl! I love y’all! C0ngratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Costa!
