Southern Summer Wedding Charleston

Y’all! Please help me congratulate the new Mr. & Mrs. Hurtado!!! This southern summer wedding Charleston was one of my favorite days ever! You see, Alli and Isaiah have the BIGGEST hearts y’all! They are intentional and thoughtful. They made sure that their day was not only about their love for each other, but about honoring their love for everyone in attendance and those who were there in spirit. Their wedding day was a nod at both of their traditional backgrounds with gorgeous details from beginning to end. It was totally a reflection of each of their personalities!

Getting Ready

I walked in to Alli’s getting ready suite at the historic Meeting Street Inn to be greeted by the SWEETEST bridesmaids ever! Kayla, Drea and Libby… y’all are in the running for the top #natashacoylebridesmaids… but I can’t pick faves! But knowing Alli and Isaiah… it didn’t surprise me how incredible Alli’s girls were. Giggles and laughter filled the room as the girls cheered Allie on every step of the way!

First Looks

Alli had first looks with her bridesmaids, her father and Isaiah. Each one had its own unique sweetness and emotion. Alli shared a tearful first look with her dad on the veranda with her precious mom watching and crying from behind me. I literally was so choked up during this moment I could hardly keep it together. Alli gifted her dad a personalized handkerchief which he loved. Alli and Isaiah shared a first look at The Hibernian Hall! They shared intimate moments expressing their love and respect for each other. It was so easy to capture their happiness in these portraits.

The Bridal Party

What a bridal party this was! The energy was contagious and we had a blast capturing portraits at The Mills House. The bridesmaids were gorgeous in their blush pink dresses and the guys were decked out in blue jackets and white shirts.  Isaiah wore an awesome white bow tie and looked so handsome. We had to dodge some tourist in the busy streets of Charleston, but it was worth it. Friends, get you a bridal party that will hoot and holler and cheer you on every step of the way!

The Ceremony at Creek Club at I’On

This southern summer wedding Charleston featured an outdoor ceremony at The Creek at I’On. Filled with so many tearful moments, the guests were moved by the love these two share. No one will forget about the fact that Alli and Isaiah made sure their pup Rhett was a huge part of their day.  Yes! Rhett was named after the one and only Thomas Rhett Atkins. Decked out in a floral crown, Rhett gracefully waltzed down the ceremony aisle stealing the hearts of everyone there.

The Reception at Creek Club at I’On

Touching first dances, amazing toasts and guest dancing the night away made for an exciting and vibrant reception for this southern summer Charleston wedding. No one wanted the night to end! Alli and Isaiah had a donut wall and you won’t believe what thoughtful thing they did. During our engagement session, they invited my husband Mike to attend their wedding. Unfortunately, Mike was not able to attend as he needed to be home with our son. So, Allie and Isaiah sent me home with a box of Duck Donuts from their donut wall just for them. I mean, come on! My couples are truly so special. Alli and Isaiah left to begin their journey as husband and wife running through sparklers and cheers from their closest family and friends.

 

Alli and Isaiah, thank you for allowing me the honor to be your girl, and now your lifelong friend! I cannot wait to keep celebrating life with y’all. Because we are kind of stuck together now! Love y’all!! Soak up your first year as Mr. & Mrs. Hurtado!
